Tressa Terry will enter her third season as head women’s basketball coach at Central Bible University in 2026-27. A former two-sport student-athlete and assistant coach for the Saints, Terry took over the program prior to the 2024-25 season.

Through her first two seasons as head coach, Terry has compiled an 18-33 overall record and an 8-14 mark in Midwest Christian College Conference play.

In 2025-26, Terry guided the Saints to an 8-17 overall record and a 3-7 finish in the MCCC. Central went 10-16 overall and 5-7 in conference play during her first season at the helm in 2024-25.

Terry was named head coach on May 6, 2024, after spending the previous season as an assistant with the Central women’s basketball program. In 2023-24, she helped the Saints finish 15-14, securing the program’s first winning season since 2015-16.

Before joining the Central coaching staff, Terry spent two seasons at Prairie Heights High School in LaGrange, Ind., serving as an assistant coach and junior varsity head coach.

Terry also serves as the Head Women's Volleyball Coach and Director of Athletics at CBU.

A 2019 graduate of Central, Terry was a two-sport student-athlete for the Saints, competing in women’s basketball and volleyball.

Terry began her collegiate basketball career in 2014-15, appearing in the first three games of the season before suffering a knee injury that sidelined her for the remainder of the year. Central went on to finish 20-8 and advanced to the NCCAA Division II National Championship game, finishing as the national runner-up.

She returned to the court the following season and helped the Saints post a 17-11 record in 2015-16. Terry averaged just under 10 points per game during her collegiate basketball career.

Terry also enjoyed success on the volleyball court, earning both all-conference and all-region honors during her career with the Saints.

A native of LaGrange, Ind., Terry remained active in ministry following her graduation from Central. She served on staff at Lake James Christian Camp near her hometown and also served as Children’s Minister at LaHarpe Christian Church.

Terry earned a Bachelor of Science in Youth and Family Ministry from Central. She resides in Moberly and attends Crossroads Christian Church in Macon.
