CBU Women’s Basketball releases 2026-27 schedule
Central Bible University women’s basketball will tip off the 2026-27 season in November as the Saints embark on a 21-game regular-season schedule that features 10 home contests and a full slate of Midwest Christian College Conference action.
The Saints will get their first opportunity to take the floor Oct. 24 when they host Moberly Area Community College for a preseason scrimmage at 1 p.m. This will be a part of the Saints Rally Day activities in which all four CBU intercollegiate sports will be in action.
CBU will play an exhibition at Missouri Valley College on Nov. 2 before opening the regular season at home against Union Adventist University on Nov. 10. The Saints begin MCCC play Dec. 5 at Ozark Christian College as part of their longest stretch away from home, which also includes an exhibition at NCAA Division II Rockhurst University and a two-game trip to Michigan to close the fall semester.
Central opens the second semester with four consecutive road games before returning to Moberly for a three-game MCCC homestand in January. After another conference road trip to Iowa, the Saints will play their final three regular-season games at home, closing the schedule against Emmaus University on Feb. 13.
The postseason begins with the Midwest Christian College Conference Tournament, scheduled for Feb. 18-19 in Joplin.
CBU will then turn its attention to the NCCAA Division II Central Region Tournament, scheduled for Feb. 24-26 in Lincoln, Nebraska, with a berth in the NCCAA Division II National Championship on the line.
The 2026-27 schedule will take the Saints to six states — Missouri, Arkansas, Michigan, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa — while providing CBU with 10 opportunities to play in front of its home crowd in Moberly.
The 2026-27 season will mark the 3rd season at the helm for Central head coach Tressa Terry.
The Saints went 8-17 in 2025-26, including a 3-7 record in MCCC play for fifth place.
