Central Bible University scored twice in the final 14 minutes Wednesday to erase a second-half deficit and rally past Waldorf University, 2-1.

Gustavo Krugher had a hand in both goals for the Saints, scoring the equalizer on a free kick before setting up Pedro Santos for the game-winner less than seven minutes later.

After a scoreless opening 45 minutes, Waldorf, who is receiving votes in the latest NAIA Men's Soccer Top 25 poll, broke the deadlock midway through the second half. The Warriors converted following a set piece with approximately 29 minutes remaining to take a 1-0 advantage.

The Saints, ranked No. 5 in the NCCAA DII Men's Soccer Top 10 poll, continued to apply pressure and finally broke through with 13:19 remaining.

After Central drew a foul outside the penalty area, Krugher stepped up for the ensuing free kick and delivered the equalizer, beating the Waldorf defense to make it 1-1.

Krugher was involved again just over six minutes later.

With 6:49 remaining, Central earned another free kick and Krugher sent the service into the penalty area, where Santos connected with a header and put it past the Waldorf goalkeeper to give the Saints their first lead of the afternoon, 2-1.

Central protected the one-goal advantage over the closing minutes to complete the comeback and earn the victory.

The Saints controlled much of the offensive action, outshooting Waldorf 26-7 and putting eight attempts on goal. Waldorf finished with five shots on frame.

Santos was one of Central's most active offensive threats, finishing with four shots and two attempts on goal. Rafael Agapito and Baraka Grodya also recorded four shots apiece, while Moise Kato added three.

Krugher made the most of his lone shot on goal, finishing with a goal and an assist after coming off the bench. Pedro Franca added two shots on goal for the Saints.

Central goalkeeper Jake Gracey played all 90 minutes and recorded four saves while allowing just one goal. Waldorf goalkeeper Dickson Phoon made six saves against the Saints' eight shots on goal.

The victory moved Central Bible to 3-3-0 on the season and snapped a two-game losing streak.
